COMMISSION A PORTRAIT:   Celebrate the childhood of your kids,  mark a special occasion, a birthday, or an anniversary by offering to your loved ones - or yourself - the unique gift of a hand painted portrait! The first step is to choose a reference photograph.  (Send an email asking for a quote).

Send an email (or snail mail) with the  photo of your loved ones and your beloved  pets, in order to commission a portrait. I advice you to not choose a reference photo that is flattering, but not very close to how the sitter looks like... Choose a photo that is clear and sharp, preferably with contrast between light and darkness, and has a strong likeness to the sitter, especially in the eyes - the seat of one's personality. 

 

Each commissioned portrait can be supplied with a complementary greetings card featuring the portrait. Further copies can be ordered. These commission cards can be used for any occasion from invitations to general correspondence, and personalized stationery. In addition, other products such as key rings, fridge magnets, mugs, notebooks, posters can be ordered featuring your commission. Completion time for prints vary (from 1 – 3 weeks)

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before commencement of the work - the remaining balance being due on completion.

Approval/Delivery: Once completed, you will see the work in a digital scan and once you are satisfied, and the remaining balance has been received, the portrait will be dispatched to you by a secure method. If you are not satisfied with the result, I will keep the original and the non-refundable deposit, and you will not pay the remaining fee.

Images of sold commissions will only be used for promotional purposes with the express permission of the purchasers.
